i know, i know...
okay, so yes, I know, i'm a slacker! I remind myself all of the time to update this blog, and.... I don't. I always just let the time get by me and then before you know it, I'm out for the night... well, here are some new words from my kids...I"ll have to take some time to gather my thoughts and get this blog updated again! here you go....
Ryan:
"I want to wear these shoes today"
Mommy:
"Ryan, you can't wear those shoes, they are too small!"
Ryan:
"na ah... they fit, see?" (as he proceeds to shove his 9.5 size foot into his size 8 shoe)
Mommy:
"Ryan, I can see that you shoved your foot in the shoe, once you start walking... your feet are going to start hurting and you will get blisters..."
Ryan:
"I like it to hurt"
Daddy: (under his breath)
"You sound like your mom"
Mommy:
Look of Death and jaw dropped open sent to daddy.... what the hell????!!!!! as my husband proceeds laughing thinking he told the funniest joke to man. I could kill him, he's so nasty.
Ryan asks my mom to stay at her house last Wed night. So, mom makes Ryan promise not to wake her up early (pre 7 am), so Ryan promises and I let him stay the night... These events take place the following morning...
Well, I confirm with Mom that Ryan let her sleep in... She was impressed that he actually listened and didn't wake her up at 5:30 in the morning looking for food. So, Dad is at the kitchen table reading his paper, Ryan tells mom he is hungry, so she makes him a bowl of cereal. She gets Ryan settled in at the table with dad, gives him his Cheerios, and Ryan looks down at his cereal, looks back up at her and tells her, "is this all you got?" Of course, mom rolls her eyes and goes back to bed as Dad is laughing hysterically (according to mom). So, she proceeds to tell me that Ryan tells her they need to go to the store... so they do, Ryan then tells her she needs to buy some doughnuts and some new cereal. Guess who got his way? hmmm?! I have such a crazy kid. oh and by the way, he picked his box of cereal due to the picture on the box...it had a picture of a guitar. Oh lord! Ryan informed mom that she needed this at her house.
At the mall today, don't ask me how he found this, but he found a shirt with guitars all over it, in his size, and it came with a miniature toy guitar with it. Of course, he ran up to mom (who was in line to buy something else) and told her that he needed this shirt because it came with a cuntar. Moms normal response... the eyes rolled, we all started laughing and then Ryan got his shirt and cuntar. why me?
On the way home from the mall today, this song (low, low, low) by Flo Rida came on the radio, to my complete freaking surprise, Aaron knew the words and was totally singing the song. My mom, Brandon and I could not stop laughing. Makes me wonder what daddy plays for them on the radio in the morning....
Ryan:
"daddy doesn't know Santa Clause's number", "daddy had a blue truck with hydraulics and it went like this" (he proceeds to make his hand move up and down) How did he even know that? Ryan was like 2 years old when we got rid of that truck!!!
Aaron:
"thank you mommy", "i want that", "Ryan, are you?", "doggy", "train, ooo, oooo", "wonderpets", "dora", "what the heck? oh man! its goken!"
Here's a pic from Halloween.... sorry for the late post... :)

is it already wednesday?
well, as I sit here thinking "when is Aaron going to stop crying and fall asleep?" I am remembering the really fun weekend I just had and I can't believe its already wednesday!! It all started last Friday, I asked to leave work early because i was just sitting around doing nothing. I left, came home, checked in with the hubby, got some money and went to spoil myself for 45 minutes getting a pedicure. Now i have to say, I tried this new place down the street from my house, it was kinda pricey and they didn't do such a good job. They did a decent job but I really need to find somewhere to go! I can't handle looking for new nail people, this is insane!!
Once i got back home, Hans and I got the boys ready and we headed out to my friend, Brandi's house. We were finally getting together for our couples game night. It was nice because i got to bring the boys and they played with her daughter, Kaydance all night long! So while we played and ate and got drunk...the kids played upstairs and kept themselves occupied until 1:30 in the morning. I couldn't even believe that it had gotten so late! I have to admit, it was tons of fun. We totally had a blast.....we were so drunk that of course, we stayed the night. We decided to go to the Pancake House the next morning and we ate like kings... after that we parted ways as we were obligated to go to my nephews 1st birthday party. Well, my kids were looking pretty scragly, so I told Hans that we needed to get their hair cut before we go to the party. Well, I didn't feel like paying $40. to go to the kids haircut store, so Hans suggested taking the kids to the Big W. that is where Hans gets his hair cut. So, pressed for time and trying to save a buck, I agree. BIG MISTAKE!!! Aaron has a little bowl haircut... the bguy shaved the bottom of his head drenched the top of his hair, combed it down and plastered it to his head and the proceeded to take the scissors and run them across his head in a not so straight line. So, basically Aaron looks like he was attacked by a weed eater. The guy cutting his hair was like 60+ years old, it was out of control.
Ryans hair.... lets just say, my husband pretty much shaved it. I'm so ticked off because now its gong to look dumb for their Christmas pictures. Thank Goodness i bought the boys hats for their pictures!
Speaking of Christmas, I bought their outfits, they are ready to go...let's just see if I can make the time to take them to get their pics done. I think i have the boys shopping just about done...My mother in law really, really did alot for them this Christmas...She was showing me her inventory for the boys last night. WOW...I don't really have to do a whole lot of shopping for them. She really went all out and bought them alot of nice stuff. Not to mention, she bought them a Rhino as well... So, now the boys will have their own (powerwheels) Rhino to ride when we drive ours. They are going to love it!
Hans and i actually made our way to that Mattel outlet off of the 60 fwy... I wouldn't really call it an outlet, the prices aren't too much cheaper... but the 50% OFF aisle...there was some good stuff. We picked up a huge toy pirate ship for Ryan (for Christmas) it retails for $50. and with the discount(s) we only paid $17. for it. So, we were stoked about that... There was alot of Disney Cars toys...I think I will go back and pick some of that stuff up for their stockings and stuff... just have to make the time to get back out there.
My stepson is turning 16 in 5 weeks....I don't know what we are going to do....holeee lord!!! He asked us to not throw him a party, he would rather receive money to fix up his truck...of course, I was all about throwing the party... so, i'm kind of bummed...but I guess it worked out because, don't know if I mentioned this...Hans and I are now hosting the annual Sakamoto Thanksgiving Dinner this year...we are talking like 50 freaking people. Yikes!!! We will have to remind ourselves to Thank my dad for suggesting to have it at our house this year. We are somewhat up to it... I guess that is something that I should be working on.. I have no clue how to cook a turkey or do any of that stuff. Guess my mom is going to have to help out on this one....
Anyways, still haven't made it out to Disneyland, I am determined to get out there before the end of the month...
Here are your words:
Ryan: Bad Manners! (If we say something inappropriate or bad, Ryan immediately interjects and says "BAD MANNERS!!")
Aaron: Flower, Haylie, Donut, TV, Shoes, toes, water, I'm Done.

river season has come to an end...
well, we took our last river trip. we camped with some friends, and when I say camp, I mean sleep in a small trailer. As you all know, I don't sleep in tents and I absolutely refuse to. I did that one time and never again. I'm a brat, i know it, and if I start to forget, my husband reminds me about it. Hans and I took the boys and brought my stepson and his best friend, Eric (my other "stepson") it was fun. I'm definately getting better at driving the boat. I actually put it on the trailer in the wind and I must say, I did a pretty damn good job!! even Hans was impressed (I think) or else he pretended to be so that he wouldn't hurt my feelings. Well, in any case, i didn't end up on the fender and I didn't allow myself to drift onto someone else's trailer. So in my mind, it was a success!
Aaron and Ryan were their typical selves... crabby, whiney, hungry and definately had the parental ear muffs on. Its amazing how children can tune their parents out at any given time. Its so damn frustrating, I mean all I want to do is punch my kids in the heads sometimes for ignoring me but I have to remind myself that I'll go to jail. LOL! just kidding, bad joke. But seriously, my kids know how to push my buttons and they are only 2 and 3 for gods sake. It's freaking insane. It's hard to call a trip to the river with 2 children a vacation when you are so damn busy stressing out about one of them drowning. They always have a vest on but who knows what could happen? My Aaron is an Evil Kenieval...He is freaking crazy and has no fear what so ever! I think he is going to be a stuntman. Ryan on the other hand doesn't believe that anything bad can happen to him. He's definately more cautious than Aaron but he also knows mommy won't let anything bad happen to him if she can help it.
Ryan and Aaron are talking more than ever... In fact, I can't get Ryan to stop talking. He talks, and talks and talks..... My mom mentioned to me that she's even tried looking for an "off" button on him... he's too much. And Aaron, well, let's just say, he's always talking his crap. He's still got a mean attitude and he'll cuss you up and down in baby blabber...
well, I'm about to head to bed as I'm still trying to recover from the weekend. Here are your words for the day...
Ryan: "B, are you pissed off because your hat was in the trash?" Eric accidentally threw away brandons hat and they had to dig thru a dumpster to find it.
Aaron: "ryan, come here", he sings the itsy bitsy spider, counts to 5 and loves to sing the ABC's. "door" and of course, "NO".

Why is my excitement for her making me cry?
Well, everyone, here it is... my mom was admitted to Georgetown University... as well as some other prominent universities back east. I'm so damn excited and happy for her but I am so sad and depressed that she is going to leave us. When I received the news at work, I was excited but instantly drew a few tears because I knew she was leaving. Who would ever pass up Georgetown? That's right, nobody. Her dream did come true to be able to finish her degree and I'm sooo excited for her. I'm sad just thinking about not having my Sundays with her and my dad, our twice a month pedicures together, our shopping dates, dinner and movie dates and our shopping revenge days when we are mad at life or our husbands. I understand that she has to go, but, I just hope she comes back when she is done. My fear is that she won't come back to California. What would I do without her? She truly is my best friend. I feel like I have gotten sooo much closer to my parents this past year and I'm just really bummed that they won't be around to share in the excitement of my crazy ass boys growing up and, well, just everything. This is nothing out of the ordinary, i know... I'm just being a spoiled brat. Well, there it is... I'm just going to enjoy our holidays together as they are rapidly approaching and spend every moment that I have with her because it's going to be like culture shock when she's not here.
I actually spent the day with her today and that was fun... she treated me and the boys to lunch then we took Ryan out for a bit this afternoon and she bought them halloween costumes. Hans has been working alot of overtime and has been helping his old employer out and working over there on his days off from the Chino Airport. So, we haven't spent too much time together... We did have a dinner date tonight and took the boys. Surprisingly, again, the boys were really good at dinner. I think Aaron has gotten over his crappy mood swings at the dinner table. His attitude has completely changed when we go out now. Thank Goodness!
I was reminding mom that when she gets back from her trip to DC in a couple of weeks, we still have to take Aaron to Disneyland for his birthday. Then I reminded myself, its really just an excuse for me to go there too... I really want to go there with the park set up for Halloween. I love, love, love Disney's "The Nightmare Before Christmas". I actually have the entire Halloween Town that I set up during Halloween and Christmas. Ryan knows all of the characters from the movie because I'm such a freak about that movie. I'm trying to find some jack skellington items for the outside of the house for the holidays... we'll see how that goes.
anyways, Ryan had his first "tummy ache" the other night... that was NOT fun. He dumped in his shorts pretty much without knowing it, so once hans got him all cleaned up, we put him to bed and i reminded him that if his tummy started to hurt again, to not wait, just get up and to go to the bathroom. Well, within 20 minutes, Ryan is hauling ass into our bedroom/bathroom and says, "I'm SICK", so he runs to the bathroom and the next thing I hear is too disgusting for words and to even repeat. All i know is that my room starting reeking like death...I told hans He definately had to be the one to wipe that butt..I wasn't going anywhere near it. Poor thing.
Anyways, 1 class left before I am done with school.... Thank Goodness!! well, wouldn't you know, my first financial aid bill showed up... its no wonder people stay in school forever, they don't want to pay their financial aid... they just want to keep deferring their payments. JEEZ, it all makes sense now!
here are your words for today:
Ryan: Ryan tells my dad today, "papa, i need some money to go buy a halloween costume"...all of a sudden my dad pretends to fall asleep on the couch, snoring and all.
Aaron: Bird, T.V.

TERRIBLE 2's....
Well, here I am again after how long? Work, school, family, etc....consuming all of my time. This month is very hectic as I knew that it would be. We have 4 birthdays this month in our family...3 of them are in 1 week. AGH!!! So basically, Aaron turned 2 on the 7th... and, yes. I am a bad mom. I didn't throw him a huge party like I do for Ryan. We basically just did a really nice family dinner here at the house with my family and then the next night we had a "pizza party" for Aaron at Round Table with Hans' family. I feel awful every day for not having a party, but, when you've got no expendable cash like you used to.... those are things that we can't just throw together anymore. So, mom and I decided that after the end of the month, we would just take Aaron by himself to Disneyland and spend the day with him. I know its not a party, but, I think its more for my guilt to spend the day at Disneyland with him.
My dads birthday was the next day, it was the 8th. So Hans and I invited mom and dad to dinner at Flemmings for Dad's birthday. Now, mind you... I know what I just said in the previous paragraph about not having money.... but, this is my dad! He does so much for us and gives us so much....I actually made a pretty decent commission check at work and told Hans that we have been pretty good and disciplined with our funds and I would really like to treat my dad (and mom) to a nice dinner. So, once he agreed, we made the reservation. Dinner was yummy of course. I asked Hans if he missed eating like that (we used to go there all the time) and he surprisingly said, "it wasn't that good tonight, I was kinda bummed". I was shocked at first, then I thought about it... he was so right! Dinner was yummy but it was not stupendous or out of this world, delicious. It was good. Just good. He made mention that he felt that the Newport Beach location served better tasting food, or it was just prepared better... something about the Rancho Cucamonga location not preparing the food to the best of it ability. oh, well...i was stoked, Flemmings is Flemmings to me... it had been a LONG time since we ate some goooood food!
Well, after that, came my birthday.... the famous 9/11 birthday girl. Let me just say, my birthday, not one of the better ones... I literally had a nervous breakdown at work and just cried the afternoon away. I got really mad at one of my bosses and all I could do was just cry out of built up aggravation and frustration. The CEO ended up in the office that day, and I tried to stay out of his way because I didn't want him to see me upset. Well, he came to talk to me, since we tend to get along pretty well, and I just avoided looking at him and he immediately knew that something was wrong.... He tried to cheer me up immediately and then became concerned and asked me what was wrong, if it was the job, etc.... I didn't want to complain or whine or anything, so I just told him that I was just frustrated and that I had already resolved the issue. Matt was super cool and knew that I was lying, so he just told me that if i needed anything, or EVER needed anything to call him. I knew he meant it and so I thanked him and told him that I appreciated the offer and Thanked him again for his concern. Well, I ended up going to school that night and class was so dang boring, I ended up leaving a bit early... we took a break around 8 and I apologized to my classmates and let them know that I had a lousy day at work, it was my birthday, and I just wanted to go home and be with my family... so, i left.
It just so happened that as I was getting onto the 71 fwy to go home, so was my husband!! he was getting on the freeway coming from the opposite direction... so i immediately called him and asked him if that was his truck driving in front of me on the 71..well, of course it was, he was at Nordstrom Rack with the boys birthday shopping for me. :) Nothing like waiting until the last minute... but gotta love it, he did good! Ryan, of course, tells me what they bought, not knowing that its a surprise, but in the end, i still ended up being surprised. Lots of goodies and finally some good company.
My mom and dad took Hans, myself and the boys to dinner for my birthday the following evening.... of course, i was worried that Aaron was going to have one of his tantrum episodes as soon as we put him in the highchair, like he so often does.... but to my absolute surprise, he didn't! Both boys, were the best that I have EVER seen them at dinner. Unbelievable. The past 3 dinners that I have had Aaron, he's been throwing tantrums, so we go visit the bathroom, give a spanking and sit him on the baby changing table until he's done crying. I guess after 3 times he finally figured out how he needed to behave when we are at a restaraunt.
Mom and Dad hooked up some awesome gifts too! wow!!! I was really excited.
So, now that we are on a birthday break for awhile...i just want to relax. My nephews birthday is at the end of the month... so i have some time to unwind and just play catch up with the house, school and hopefully work. School is over in 2 weeks, Thank Goodness!!
Well, I know that I definately have my work cut out for me, its like Aaron knew that he turned two and he's allowed to act like satan. Hans actually named him our "devil child". he is unlike any other kid I have ever come into contact with.... I have no clue what has come over him lately but I am about to lose my damn mind. He screams and cries and just like to throw tantrums...just because....! I can't handle it. I have become one of those mothers with the loud, obnoxious terrible child that I used to talk shit about every time I was out in public. I now have one of those children. The only thing that I don't have is a leash for him. Good lord! Well, I'm hoping that with all of the frustration that my child brings on me, something good has to come of it.
Words of the day:
Ryan: mommy, you're not a bad mommy! (i was telling my mom, that i'm such a bad mom for not noticing that Ryans shoes were a size and a half too small for him when we were at the Vans store yesterday buying him some new shoes) I felt like shit! that's what i get for letting him wear flip flops all summer long....I had no clue that his tennis shoes didn't fit him.
Aaron: mommy, i'm done. and then we waves his hands to say that he's done in sign language.

Aaron: mommy, i'm done. and then we waves his hands to say that he's done in sign language.

alrighty then...
well, again, i let the time get the best of me...here i am to lay it all out on the internet for everyone to read....hahaha..
work is consuming all of my time, my husband hates my job, my kids are out of control, the house is never clean and the weeds in my backyard are about ready to kill me. anything else? oh, and we just came back from the river...oh, and taking the kids...not so relaxing. did i mention that it was 114 degrees this weekend? oh my!
Oh, so just an update, my husband and i got into a "tiff" the other night, so i didn't get mad, i got a haircut! of course, he got more mad but whatever!! he has this image in his mind that I should have long curly hair, blah, blah, blah... well, i was tired of looking like a hag. I cut it and it feels great. paybacks are a biatch husband, and guess what? you married one! :) just kidding...well, kind of. we're back on track now but don't mess with a Sakamoto...haven't you learned this by now?
Ryan is crazier and funnier everyday. He begged to go to my moms house last week, so i called and asked if mom and dad would be up to babysitting for the day... of course, dad says, "bring them over" then he goes to wake mom up and say "boys are coming over" and then he retreats to the backyard to do his gardening. Apparently when I dropped the boys off that morning, Ryan immediately went out to the back to ask my dad what he was doing... so dad says, " i'm watering the grass" Ryan asks "why?" and dad says, "to keep it green" and my smart ass kid says, "the grass is already green" and then goes inside... that's not all.... Mom was trying to tell Ryan something and he looks at her and says (not mean, but as a matter of fact) "you're not the boss"...of course, he had to say that when my dad was there.... so of course dad is laughing his butt off and that's now his favorite line to tell my mom... "you're not the boss".
Don't think that's it... Mr. Aaron is getting in on the action too... Aaron thinks he can walk around my moms house with his milk... as she calls him back to the kitchen, he yells back to her, "NO!" and then proceeds to make shooting noises at her. Of course to which my dad is still laughing...that kid got the Sakamoto and Lander stuborness. He is 100% bitchy and stubborn. He is awful! The older he is getting, the worse it is becoming... I really need to get him to chanel his frustrations and stuborness into some type of activity or something... he's killing me!!
here are your words:
Ryan: you're not the boss, who ponked the horn? mommy, you have 2 kids.
Aaron: mew, mew, mew (that's his shooting noise), NO! It's mine., Ryan.

monday...
well, our weekend at the river was great, of course... it was super hot, humid and we had a great time. We ended up taking Ryan with us so there wasn't much relaxing going on but we all had fun. Ryan was bored during the adult activities but looooved when we would beach and he got to play with his sand toys and jump in the water. We met more people from our "cobra family" and partied with them all weekend.
We headed home about 4pm yesterday and that's when the never ending drive home began... Hans' truck began to take a crap...it wouldn't shift over 2000 rpms...so, needless to say, we couldn't climb any hills and with towing the boat...it was not a fun ride home. Like I said, we left at 4 and didn't get home until 1:30-1:45ish... not fun. oh well,...
while we were trying to figure out what to do without blowing the truck up, Ryan comments to us, "Mater is a tow truck, he can hook your truck and take you home"... how freaking cute is that? Ryan is too much. Gotta love him... he lightened the mood for us during our stressful drive home.
oh well...i have so much to say but just not enough energy to say it... oh and I can't even think straight as I just killed the hugest, ugliest dairy spider in my kitchen. it was so scary that I just wanted to run away but then i figured that if i didn't kill it that it would end up in my room or in one of the boys rooms... eeewww...i'm getting all freaked out just thinking about it again... yuk!
anyways, i'll try to update everyone with the life of lander later this week.

Wow, where did that come from?
Well, we are back to the whole earthquake thing....We had quite a scare yesterday with that sudden sharp jolt that kept rolling and seemed neverending... I am somewhat okay with earthquakes, but what freaked me out yesterday was not having my kids with me. I know that they were with my mother in law and that they were probably safe but you just feel helpless not having your kids with you in the event of an emergency. The good Lord must have felt my helplessness because right after the quake had settled, I had called Hans to check on him and of course the phone lines had gone down... Well, i thought I'd give it another try to my mother in law, of course her house phone was down, but on the 3rd try, I was able to get thru to her cell phone! Thank Goodness... I needed to hear that my boys were safe and that they aren't losing their minds. they seemed to be okay and she assured me that they were so I stayed at work but still felt kind of uneasy. I then began to realize what was bothering me... it was what my dad has been lecturing me about for the past few years.... I needed to have a plan.
My dad has been on my ass for not having a disaster plan put in place for when the big one hits or some other type of disaster happens. I know that he is right and that I really need to do it, I just haven't made the time to do it. I'm just used to dad telling me what to do and I know I'm okay. I'm not used to initiating something, I'm just used to taking direction. Well, I just knew I was probably going to get the lecture about how this earthquake was nothing in comparison to what could be truly disasterous and there wasn't a plan of action.
Well, needless to say, I talked to Hans tonight about it and made him understand how dad wasn't just blowing smoke up our asses to be annoying... he is right. We NEED A PLAN!!! So, while Hans finally agreed, we started talking some things out and unfortunately we didn't get too far as I was starting to work on some homework but this is something that I'm not going to ignore anymore...I need to have this figured out and it needs to be soon. ;)
Well, with the lecture from dad comes some fun from Ryan. Well, after the crazy day we had yesterday, I get a call from my mother in law around 3 in the afternoon...I'm thinking "oh great, the kids are still going crazy, she's going to ask me to pick them up..." well, thank goodness that wasn't the case as i had sooo much to do at work...but the phone call was still pretty funny. Apparently, she noticed that Ryan was roaming her house "commando". WHAT?! She calls to ask me if Ryan came to her house with underwear this morning... I'm like, "yes, he does every day" well, apparently, he wasn't wearing any yesterday. I informed her that Ryan went to bed in underwear, woke up in them and he dressed himself. he's pretty good about wearing his underwear as he has a freakish obsession with them so it surprised me that he was at her house without underwear all day.. oh well... i guess he needed to "breathe". who knows...that kid is a mystery sometimes...
Well, all this stress of earthquakes, homework, work, fundings and the river trip has done no justice to my complexion! I now have some disgusting breakout and they are the huge craters that are under your skin. They freaking hurt! I'm so disgusted by them right now...I can't wait until this weekend, maybe once i can relax and float on my raft and drink me a cold alcoholic beverage my stress will begin to diminish and my complexion will clear up. how gross! I feel like i need to run out and get some Oxy Clean or something.... this is sooo wrong!
well, here are your words:
Ryan: Rocky made the house move (Ryan is blaming his grandma's cat for the earthquake)
Aaron: Ryaaaaaaa (ryan)

hhmm...
so, here i am, back again... I finally remembered my email and password so now I can start writing again! I seem to have a case of short term memory.... too much stuff going on...
Well, we ended the last of our July birthday celebrations this weekend... we have been to a birthday party every weekend this month, and my husband is about to lose his damn mind. He claims i know too many people, blah, blah, blah.... whatever! well, he was starting to unwind knowing that the last birthday party was Saturday, now he's back in full stress mode trying to get ready to take off to the river this Friday... He has been in the driveway trying to put on these electric steps on his truck so that i won't be exposing anyone my "britney" when trying to get into the truck anymore... nasty, right?!
So, here it is, 9:30...Ryan has been fighting with me for the past hour and a half...he doesn't want to go to bed. He swears that there is a little boy "cripet" in his room and he can't sleep. Well, I informed him that the "cripet" is actually somewhere in my room and that I would go find him...Well, Ryan wasn't convinced so he followed me into my room and we pulled the couch off the wall, and sure enough, there was the "cripet". Ryan was SCREAMING like a damn little girl, so then I was freaking out because the cricket was going crazy and jumping all over the place. Needless to say, Ryan and I captured the "little boy cripet" and we're waiting for daddy to come in the house and remove him from our trap.
Today, the boys and I had lunch with mom, dad and Michael... Lunch went well, everyone was on their best behavior...well, not so much Ryan but it was still a nice, yummy lunch! Ryan suckered my dad into ordering him a sundae.... how could dad resist? Well, it was funny because when they brought the bill to my dad, Ryan still hadn't recieved his sundae. What cracked us all up was that Ryan noticed the bill arriving and was NOT having that!! He was ticked off that the waitress brought the bill ready to get us out of there and he didn't get his ice cream yet... of course, as we're all laughing, my dad assures Ryan that "don't worry, she's not getting any money until your ice cream gets here." So, Ryan immediately calmed down. too funny. I'm thinking with Ryan knowing the dining out drill I should probably start cooking at home a bit more.
Here's where its going to get a bit nasty... LOL... my mom graciously accepted my asking her to keep the boys overnight last night so that Hans and I could get some overdue yardwork done...My dad informs me that Ryan pooped so large, he is still in disbelief! I laughed and told him that I know my kid can poop something fierce...think back to the 1 piece of poop that got stuck in my toilet at 2 in the morning. HAHAHAH..I don't think he believed me, but now he does... AHAHAHAH...
anyways, i'm gonna head out...i'm still so tired. Here are your words for the day:
Aaron: 'no, it's mine!"
Ryan: Cripet

has it been two weeks? seriously?
well, Here I am, back in action, rec'd a paycheck and losing my mind from a group project from school. I thought that college entailed grown up school work, not jr. high stuff. I just had another group project to do and 2 of the 4 people didn't do a thing... and it wouldn't bother me too much but we ALL have to participate in the presentation tomm... I'm thinking that the 2 "slackers" should have to present it... that's just my opinion.
This past weekend we were at a birthday party and the party was at a bouncy house place... we all had such a blast! Ryan and Aaron thought they were superman and were sliding down the slides on their tummies with their feet and hands raised up. I thought it was the funniest thing. Now, Ryan wants to go to the "bouncy place" everyday, he's hooked! I'm contemplating having one of the kids birthday parties there now. It was fun for the adults too!
We visited Hans' sisters again this weekend and took the boys swimming. Ryan played so well with his little cousin Connor. It makes me realize what a good big brother he could be if he wasn't fighting with Aaron all the time.
Mom and I went to get our toes did this past sunday and found out that our nail ladies had sold the shop and moved on! I am soooo freaking bummed!! now I have to scout out several nail shops to find someone who is suitable to doing my nails. I am such a picky freak about my finger nails... not just anyone can do them... I used to cry when I would get a fill and they were ugly....literally.
oh well, at least the pedicure ladies were still there, they hooked us up for a good hour on our feet... i was in pedicure heaven that day.
Oh, we went to the river for the 4th of July... can i say CHAOS?!!! it was insane, but fun! We took my stepson and one of his friends... we had such a blast. I was forced to learn how to trailer the boat and surprisingly, I did extremely well. I made my husband promise not to yell at me if I were to mess anything up and I didn't! he was so pleased that he made me do it again the next day.... I was not too happy about that, but oh well, at least I don't feel like such a loser anymore, I'm figuring it out. By the way, for all of you Havasu lovers, SITE 6.... CRAZY!!!! Don't use it if you don't have to. Pay the money and launch at the marina. enough said. It was a freaking gauntlet trying to get the boats on the trailer at site 6. all the locals come down with their lawn chairs and ice chests full of beer and just antagonize the hell out of anyone trying to put their boats on the trailer, they purposely intimidate you so that you will fuck up. Then all the drunks start fighting and all kinds of madness is surrounding you...like I said, pay the money and launch at the Marina. or better yet, stay at the Nautical.
Can't wait to go back to the river, we will be attending the makeshift Cobra regatta again...I'm ready to get my tan on again... since the one from the 4th is peeling away as we speak.

its july already?
my biggest complaint... of all time... Where has the time gone???? where has the month of June gone? OMG! can't believe its going to be July tomm. I can't believe that I'm finally almost done with school.. I can't believe that Aaron is going to be 2 in 3 mos.
Sooo much has been going on and I've been really bad about documenting it.. I've just let work consume my life again...but you know what? I've needed it. I love my job again and I feel like I'm finally transitioning into my role at work.
Ryan and I went to see Wall-E this weekend... it was disapointing... Ryan straight asked if he could go home during the movie...even he was bored!
We went to a swimming party this weekend..Ryan had a blast!!!
This weekend we are headed off to the River for some adult fun... Can't wait! I'll have to catch everyone up with the lives of Lander when I make some time. Until then....
here they are....
Ryan: "you are my sunshine"... he practiced and practiced... he knows all the words to mommys favorite song.
Aaron: "NO NO NO!"

seriously... was it hot enough this weekend?
This past friday was Hans' birthday... we didn't do too much as the saga of what is my life continues... I have NO money!!! Thank goodness for my family... Mom, Karen and Michael put together a really yummy bbq for Hans' birthday.. There was all kinds of great food and lots of drinks.
I've really been wanting to bonfire for quite some time so we had a bonfire in the backyard... Hans ran out of lighter fluid and decided to use gasoline.... the result of that... funny as hell... the wood bursted into a HUGE ball of fire and screamed "whoosh"!! I thought it was freaking hilarious as it scared the crap out of Hans but in reality...its not. I can't help it though.. i have a sick sense of humor.
We said goodbye to everyone about 1 in the morning and got up about 5 hours later to help mom clean out her storage locker... that didn't take too long, thank goodness. Around 330, Hans and I were going to be babysitting our nephew, Connor. He's so freaking cute and I was so excited to have a baby in the house... well, that plan backfired. As soon as Connor figured out that his mommy had left the house, he freaked out! He literally cried for 4 hours straight... I couldn't believe it!! I never really knew what the meaning of "mama's boy" meant until saturday night... Holeeee Shit! I thought Hans was going to kill himself. Oh well... maybe we just need to see Connor more often so that he's not so freaked out by us.
sorry this is so short... i feel lousy from all the heat this past weekend and I'm just tired.... I'll be sure to get on top of this blog this week... Here are some new words for ya...

He's so freaking cute and I was so excited to have a baby in the house... well, that plan backfired. fathers day...
Fathers day was great... we went and took our favorite daddy's to PF Changs for lunch.. we had a really good time. Of course, my kids were crabby and irritated, but what can you do? They reminded me again that trying to have a 3rd child would be suicidal....
after lunch, we went to my sister in laws house for a fathers day celebration with my hubbys family... the boys went swimming and had a blast!!! they were still so exhausted this morning when trying to drag them out of bed.
I had the absolute WORST day of my life at work today..this piece of shit loan officer actually made me cry out of frustration... i terminated my contract with her...her bullshit is not worth getting paid, it was that bad. I told her she needed to find someone else to process her loans and put up with her jeckyl and hyde behavior. screw that.
thank god hans took pity on my ass and made dinner tonight. i was not in the mood and did not have the energy. anyways, Aaron all of a sudden has quite a vocabulary... here are your words..
aaron: motor kykle, stop it, no, mom, papa, mommy, daddy, car, truck and eat.
Ryan: "i did a poop all by myself, my daddy was so proud, it was stinky!"

klepto...
I went to the mall tonight to see if I could find the men in my life a gift for Fathers Day. First of all, the mall I randomly decided to go to... SUCKED. The Tyler Mall... why did I even waste my gas? anyways, now that Ryan is potty trained, I needed to buy him some more undies... so we went to the Childrens Place and I only found 1 package of chonies in his size... so, irritated that I could only spend $5.00, I bought them... So, When I went to the Pumpkin Patch store to see if they had anything I happened to notice that there were some items in the bottom of the stroller that I didn't recongnize. It seems that Ryan had picked up another package of underwear and a set of pj's. I immediately asked him where they came from and he just said, "but I needed them". UGH!! Mortified, I looked to see what he had lifted and wouldn't you know it... the underwear and pajamas were totally his size! OMG!! Is that ridiculous or what? Crazy!!! Too embarrassed to go back, I just brought them home... how awful is that? Anyways, just thought I'd share that all with you.. Aaron is talking up a storm like crazy!!!

toasty warm...
this past weekend we did end up going to the river... we went to Parker and had a fun and semi-relaxing time. The boys did really well. Ryan was ecstatic to be at the river, he looooves it and Aaron, well, he LOVED it too. He had so much fun playing at the sandbar and jumping in the water... I didn't really get too relax too much as I was chasing the boys around and being a super duper overprotective mommy but i still managed to have a good time.
On saturday, there was a Fathers Day Float and there had to be at least 1000 floats out on the river just partying as they floated by.. it sucked because it kind of wasted our day with all those people in the water, we had to pretty much just drive like we were in a no wake zone up and down the whole river. by the end of the day, we went to Roadrunners for drinks and an early dinner... wouldn't you know that some white looking rick james looking guy didn't tie his boat up right and it got loose at the dock, guess who's boat it hit? of course..it hit my boat. what an ass. We wouldn't have even known had the security not been hauling ass down to the dock to get the runaway boat off of ours. Punk Ass. well, hans was grateful that those guys took care of business so he bought them all Roadrunner Rapers. That crap will kill you... it's got Everclear in it... I took one drink of it and just about gagged... talk about drinking rubbing alcohol...gross.
Ryan's potty training continued as we were out there... he did really well and then Sunday came. He got up really early and like a good boy, went to the bathroom once he got out of bed, well, my in-laws trailer blows mad air into the bathroom and freezes the porcelin toilet... well Ryan couldn't handle it and peed EVERYWHERE in the bathroom.. when Jim (g-pa) was telling me about it, I thought I would die but then Ryan told me, "but mommy, it was sooo cold in there" Then Jim kinda laughed it off and forgave Ryan. I felt bad but I can understand what Ryan was talking about because the toilet does get really cold!!
Well on sunday, we didn't do too much, we just drove the boat and went to eat lunch at Fox's then went to the sandbar for the kids to play with their sandtoys. when it was time to go, Aaron threw a fit! He did NOT want to be in the boat... he wanted to play in the sand with his toys.
We packed up the boys and all the toys and headed back to the camp to start getting ready to go home. I finally got some color on my raw poultry looking skin and so did the boys... Aaron now looks like the sunlight touches him.. he's not so ghostly looking anymore.
On our way home from Parker, we stopped at In-N-Out in Indio... Ryan kept claiming that he had to poop...2 trips to the bathroom and nothing... as we are getting ready to leave the restaraunt, we pick ryan up from his seat and he has peed everywhere!! I was MORTIFIED. I could have died.. how freaking embarrasing.. he was in the bathroom twice while we were there and he decides to pee in his seat?! AGH!!!
This morning, the boys DID NOT want to get out of bed, I think the weekend kicked their butts!
Aaron is starting to say new words and is really responding to me questioning him.
Ryan is asking when we are going back to the river... and Aaron just starts screaming when he sees the boat... did i mention that i'm tired?!

just because I have nothing better to do...
Not much has been going on over here... just got home from Joe's house. My husband volunteered our services to paint a room in his house so that Joe would add to the roll cage on the rhino.. not fun. Not fun, because Joe lives on the side of town where it smells like rotting corpses. I can't believe that 2 blocks away from my house, it could smell sooo bad. What funny is that we almost bought a house in that exact neighborhood. Fate stepped in and sent us further down the road, thank god! So aaron was tired and acting up, ryan was passed out in Shawns room so I left him with Hans. I told Hans not to forget ryan tonight when he comes home.. we'll see if he remembers. hahhaa...
I haven't heard much about this river trip, maybe we aren't going???... i"d be okay with that. hahah..
well, not too much to say today, hopefully we'll have an eventful weekend. :)

hump day...
well here it is wednesday and the weather has turned crappy again... My husband has disapeared to his friends house to work on the Rhino... That is code for we are going to sit in Joe's garage, drink and gossip... how frustrating!
well, after bitching about Ryan's potty training relapse, it turns out that he had a perfect day today at grandmas house...yay Ryan!! I was so proud of him, I took him to the donut store. He LOVES donuts!
Aaron discovered who Diego was (Dora's cousin) and LOVES him... he now shouts "go diego go".
Not too much else going on...I think we're just getting ready to go to the river this weekend, that's about it... oh, i have to write chapter 5 of my thesis tonight..nothing new... procrastination. enough said.
words of the day:
ryan: cus, cus, cus, i didn't pee pee on grandmas new carpet today... (ryan studders from time to time)
Aaron: go diego go!

SEX.....
Yay for Sex in the City... My mom and I went to watch it Sunday night and it was soooo freaking good. I have to say that for not being a SATC show fanatic I still really enjoyed the movie. It was funny, sad and a OMG unbelieveable wedding dress! hahaha... I have to say, I'm so glad that my wedding has come and gone... it really was a bit stressful...fun, but stressful.
I spent alot of the weekend shopping for Aaron and I as we so desperately needed clothes. SO, I was sooo excited because my hubby gave me the green light to shop, well wouldn't you know it.. I couldn't find anything to buy. I had money to spend and nothing to spend it on. I actually ended up buying Aaron alot of summer clothes so at least that makes me feel better. Ryan was set, he received alot of summer clothes from his birthday.
My husband has decided that we are going to the river this weekend..I'm not in the mood as my bitch, aunt flo decided to pay me a visit this week... and you know how it goes... the repercussions of her being around, irritable and bloated!!! Yes, that is me at this moment. So, I'm trying my best to put on a brave face and say "okay, let's go to the river..." knowing that I am going to be irritated because of my "aunt" and because my husband will be having fun while I "babysit" our 2 babies out there on the water. I don't see how this weekend is going to be fun. I would rather "babysit" at home... oh well, I"ll make the best of it I"m sure.
Ryan advised me again today that the Plane sitting on Euclid Ave at the Chino Airport is "pissed off" again because he can't fly... He also is having a gnarly relapse on potty training... I'm ready to give him away...He refuses to pee in the toilet and some raunchy kid at daycare taught Ryan how to bite his nails! I'm mortified... I hate men who bite their finger nails.. I don't want Ryan doing that for the rest of his life..its soooo gross.
These days Aaron has enough freaking attitude to make me wish I was dead. I can't even believe it... I'm so irritated with my kids behavior these days, I think me staying at home for 5 months did them more harm than it did good...it's insane! anyways, nothing too exciting going on over here... vocabulary hasn't increased much...but the attitude has.

exhaustion!!
So, since I am a single parent today and tommorow, I am hating life right now. My husband took my truck because his truck gets 2 miles to the gallon at over $5.00/gal... so, I have to drive his beast and it sucks! It's tall and loud and dirty! By the time I was done with work and went to pick up the boys, I was exhausted! Thank God my mom took pity on my sorry ass and made us all dinner so that I wouldn't have to deal with it. So, knowing that mom had dinner covered, i thought, wow, I might get a bit of a break tonight... SO NOT the case! My mother in law informed me that the boys didn't take afternoon naps. Shoot me! So, of course by the time we get to my moms house, the crying for no reason starts, I thought I would lose my mind. After I ate, I went to the kids playroom and passed out on the couch. I felt bad for letting my heathen children be unsupervised but it felt so damn good to doze off for that hour. It wasn't until my brother walked into the room dropped his pants, put his bare ass infront of my face and farted that I realized my kids had covered my body in legos. Lucky me. As the look on my face provided michael the laugh of his life, I figured it was about that time to get the kids and start driving home. So, here we are, traveling home and my kid is singing every freaking lullabye one he can think of.. he's even got his own "rappers delight" of lullabyes... he's mixing twinkle, twinkle with his abc's... i feel sorry for his teacher when he goes to school.
well, i'm off to watch the remainder of what is now that ludicrous show LOST. I used to really like it and now its so damn farfetched, its ridiculous. I think its been like 3 years and they're still on the island... oh well...
i may just head to bed, I have the whole bed to myself tonight without any marital obligation duties tonight! YES!!!!

back from hiatus...
well, I'm back from blogging hiatus. I have not made the time to write or to tell you about my crazy ass kids. Well, not much has changed, Ryan chooses when he will potty train... he was doing really good and then we left for the river and for 4 days he didn't potty train at my moms... so, now its been a real struggle to get him back into the swing of things. Aaron is really starting to stick up for himself now and is quite verbal. I haven't seen Brandon since the end of last month...we were supposed to go to the river this weekend but that is now out the window as Hans has decided to go to work.
Ryan has a new obsession with bouncy balls, he now calls them "jelly balls"... don't know where the phrase came from or why, but he can't stop talking about them.. He is also finding them all over the house and is driving everyone crazy with them.
Karen's boyfriend and his daughter and brother went to the river with us this past weekend... I think the daughter has ADD, enough said.
in all the years I have been going to the river with my husband, this past weekend was the shittiest... bad weather, rain... it sucked.
we had a lot of fun taking the rhino out for rides thru the trails at Parker... we almost hit a teryx head on ( or should I say a teryx almost hit us) in a canyon but we pulled out of it.
Work is going okay, its starting to get a little better, I love the location, the people and the flexibility, I just wish it was salary! miss that nice salary... oh well.
I splurged at big lots the other night and bought the boys a 3 piece summer pool... there is an alligator pool, an elephant that shoots water and a giraffe that has a waterfall from its long neck. I'm hoping it will warm up soon so that the boys can play with it. I think they are going to love it.
did i mention that Big Lots is freaking out of control... Walmart is definatley cheaper than them.. I almost shat myself when i saw this cute little zebra ottoman... for $250. WTF?! This isn't freaking Pier 1 !!!! and a really nice TV console for $1100. HOLY JESUS... Did Ethan Allen have a sale?! Can you believe those prices? That's ridiculous expensive. The Mathis Brothers and Living Spaces has furniture for cheaper... I'm still in shock.. Thank God my house is furnished!
I think I'm taking ryan to disneyland on friday after work... I'll have to convince my mom to go with us since I won't have a sitter for Aaron, unless my mom wants to stay home with Aaron...hmmm..... I doubt it, she's like a kid...she'll totally want to go. anyways, Mrs. Procrastination is here and she's got to write Chapter 4 of her thesis... so until then... here are your words for today.
Aaron: NOOOOO, IT's MINE!!!
Ryan: Daddy, you are not the boss, mommy is. ( that's my boy)

The time got by me yet again...
Well, I was supposed to be writing my thesis paper since last Thursday, but, you know how that goes... PROCRASTINATOR!!! I finished Chapter 1 last night and will start Chapter 2 tonight after I bitch about it in my blog.
I rec'd a message from mom on Monday... the weather was gloomy, therefor she wanted to cook. So we had dinner at moms and didn't get home until about 8. I was tired, the house was a mess and I wanted to watch THe Hills. So I gave the kids a bath and put them down, cleaned up a bit around the house and watched my show. After the show, I ended up watching the news, then caught some of the Oprah and Barbara Walters interview that's when all hell broke loose! Aaron woke up screaming in his sleep around 12:30, so I went to check on him and he was burning up! I got him to cool down and put him back to bed, I proceeded back to my room to go to sleep when Ryan woke up and I could hear him wimpering... I went into his room and he had this look of "what the hell just happened" on his face, so I asked him if he was alright and there it was... he had thrown up all over himself and the bed. okay, so, I strip him down, strip the bed, clean the sheets off, throw them in the washer, find some new sheets, make Ryans bed, finish cleaning him up, and put him back to bed. Okay... everyone is settled in bed, time for me to get some sleep. mmmmm, not so much.
Aaron woke up screaming again... so I gave him his "baby" blanket and he settled down, I figured okay, thats all it was. Back to bed... Well, the next thing I know Ryan is in my doorway and isn't saying anything, so I ask him if he's okay or if he needs to throw up again. He advises me that he threw up again, but this time, he did it on the floor because he's a "big boy". He made sure that he didn't throw up in the bed. AWWW! how freaking cute is my kid. He's sick and he's worried about pleasing me. too cute. anyways, so back out of bed, I have to clean the carpet in Ryans room, put Ryan back to bed, finally got to bed, closed my eyes and there it was again. Aaron is screaming like someone is killing him. Hans and I go to his room to see what is wrong, Aaron is so freaking hot that I can barely hold him. Hans takes his temp and its over 103. We immediately strip him down and put him in a lukewarm bath to bring his temp down. We got it down to 100 and gave him some tylenol and just put him back to bed in a diaper. I don't think I got to sleep until 3 that morning and then hans woke me up at 6 to help him get the boys ready to go to his moms house for the day. I was exhausted and delirious! So, needless to say, here I am in the dungeon bedroom trying to find some strength and ambition to finish Chapter 2 of my Thesis paper that is due tomm night at 6 pm sharp! ugh!! well, i guess I'm off to complete the unimaginable. here are your words:
Ryan: Auntie moe had a ratatouille at her work today (she found a rat in the office)

So, needless to say, here I am in the dungeon bedroom trying to find some strength and ambition to finish Chapter 2 of my Thesis paper that is due tomm night at 6 pm sharp! ugh!! well, i guess I'm off to complete the unimaginable. here are your words:

and what a weekend it was...
well, saturday came and went like that. We pretty much spent the majority of the day outside in the back yard doing some much overdue yardwork. I am pretty much hurting today from all the work that we did but still managed to have a good day with the boys. Since Hans had to work today, we ended up going to my moms house and we went to BJ's for lunch. It was sooo yummy!! After that, I took Brandon and Aaron to the mall so that Brandon could buy a gift for his mom...Karen and her kids ended up going to the mall too, so that was kinda fun. There were so many people out today just enjoying the beautiful weather. Well, we went back to mom's house to pick up Ryan and came home to wait for Hans so that we could all go to his sister's house for their mothers day celebration. We actually just got home and of course...I'm EXHAUSTED!! LOL.... I have to start writing my research paper for school and I've been bad, I should have been focusing on that this weekend and I haven't. I'm really going to have to buckle down on that and get it done. Anyways, the boys are getting crazy as ever. Ryan has been spitting at people, on people and anywhere that he can. Aaron is getting the last of his teeth and it has had the worst side effects ever! His nose has been running constantly, he is just pooping water and blowing out his diapers and he has a fever. It really sucks!! Apparently he threw up all over in his crib Friday morning... I'm hoping that this will pass soon... poor kid! On a positive note, Aaron was really starting to talk this weekend... and Ryan...let's just say, we need him to clean up his mouth! here are your words....
Ryan: "Ary has diahreee" (diahrea), "that plane is pissed off because he crashed" (as we are driving up Euclid Ave and he sees the planes sitting at the Chino airport).... I really have to work on Ryans mouth!
Aaron: "daddy", "ball", "bless you", "thank you", "NO". He's really beginning to talk, it's so freaking cute!!

early mothers day outing
Today, mom and I decided that we were going to get out and spend some mother-daughter time for mothers day. We decided to go to Disneyland tonight and go to dinner. We went to Disneyland around 6 and then went browsing at Downtown Disney and then finished off the night getting stuffed at El Torito. It was fun and definately well deserved! I finally got to go to the submarine ride that I have been longing to do since we got our annual passes at Christmas. I figured, what the heck? I don't have any kids or strollers with me, let's do this! So mom and I waited in line for about 45 minutes and off we went to see Nemo. It was really creative the way the ride was set up, it's like you were watching a cartoon in the water. I can't wait until the boys are a bit older so that I can take them on that ride. Aside from that, not much else is going on... It's mothers day weekend so I'm sure Hans and I will be doing our last minute shopping tomm. It's so hard to be generous when you're broke!!! But, we'll do our best!

soooo tired!
I probably got home from school about an hour ago and my eyes feel like they are on fire! I am exhausted!!
Today was the boys first day at home with Daddy being on his new 4/10 schedule. Ryan didn't know what to do with himself... First he wanted to go to work with me, then he was mad because he wanted to go to grandmas house and finally I got him to calm down and eat some breakfast while I began to sneak out of the front door. That's when Ryan stopped me... He shouted out, "you forgot to give me a hug and a kiss!" So as soon as I gave Ryan some love, I scooted on out of the house and went to work. I think I'm really starting to get the hang of things at work, I rec'd my first loan today and I also rec'd an additional 14 loan officers. I now have 21 loan officers that I work for exclusively. wow! I hope that they start sending me some work as I pretty much don't have a whole lot to do right now.
I think I may still be suffering from dinner last night... My mothers in laws birthday was yesterday and we ended up going to Round Table with the whole family and friends for pizza and beer. I was tired from work, I was still in my heels, the boys were out of control from not napping at grandmas and daddy just did his thing like he always does. Ryan, of course, decided to take a german shepard size poo in his pull up so I had to take him to the bathroom and change him... in the meantime, daddy was holding Aaron when I left... However, when I came back he wasn't holding Aaron and in fact Aaron wasn't even in sight... I quickly glanced at all of my sister in laws, Hans' mom, Stepdad, stepbrothers... everyone in that room! I quickly and sternly asked hans where the hell aaron was. he looked at me like duh...he's over _____ oh shit! I don't know where he's at... I put him down and now he's gone! So, basically, I'm like, "look rocket scientist husband of mine... that normally happens when you put a 18 month old baby down and turn your head... they walk away! UGH!! I could have stabbed him with the shitty damaged silverware at the pizza joint! So, we send out a "search party" for Aaron in the Pizza Joint and it turns out he's at the front of the store, eating a sucker, playing with the toy machines! I was lucky that he didn't walk out the front door that the toy vending machines were next to... I was just so upset about that, then the room we were in was like 100 degrees and the Laker game was on and the damn tv was so loud... I just wished that the ground would swallow me up, i wanted to be anywhere but at the pizza place at that moment... I couldn't get out of there quick enough... oh well, it finally came to an end and we came home, put the kids to bed and that's about all that I remember. what a day... like I said, I think i'm still tired from everything going on this week and now it's mothers day weekend! ay dios mios.... what the hell am I going to do?!

it's a new day...
Well, for the past 2 days I've been "training" at this job. I think I'm really going to like it (once I get the hang of it) but for now, it's just really overwhelming! I'm sad that I'm not home with the boys now...It's just like they say, "be careful what you wish for..." I wanted a job sooo bad and now that I have one, I'm so bummed that I'm not at home. That could just be the complainer in me too. I was just telling Hans how I hate coming home and my house isn't clean, or the boys rooms aren't clean and our bed isn't made because I'm too freaking lazy to make in the morning... Now I just feel like there isn't enough time in the day to do it all. oh well... things happen for a reason...
I'll just continue with school and see where it takes me.
The boys have ended back up at their grandma's house, meaning Hans' mom since my mom goes to school during the day. It was like they had never left! They walked into her house owning that place! The kids were thrilled to see Ryan and Aaron and of course, Ryan, is the cool kid of the house.. and he knows it. So, that gave me some relief that I didn't have to worry about the boys.
My hubby is the one that I worry about now. He took this new job to be able to spend more time with us as a family, and to tell you the truth, I see him less and he's not happy there...but he won't admit it to me. I hope that he does something about it soon, I don't like seeing him like that.
Ryan has learned to use the remote for the t.v. in the truck. He's driving me crazy with it... He's really just too smart and I just keep asking myself, "when will it end?" Funny story... we were at Chick's Sporting Goods the other day with Michael and my mom... Ryan decided that he needed new "flops", therefor, he grabed a pair that he liked, ripped the tags off and told my mom, "I need these new flops" and that was the end of that! What Ryan wants, Ryan gets (most of the time!) So, needless to say, mom bought the new flops and he hasn't taken them off since... by the way, they weren't cheapies, they were freaking Rainbows! that kid has expensive taste!!
Oh, and FYI~ Aaron has gotten over his fear of little stairs... he's still afraid of the big ones and continues to go down them on his hands and knees.
Here are your words for the day:
Ryan: rat touille, lezout (zelout, the little 3 eyed guys from toy story)
Aaron: daddy!

"where's your black nails?"
Normally on Sundays, mom and I will go to get pedicures together. Today was a day very much needed for pedicures. On our way to moms house, I explained to Ryan that Uncle Michael would be watching him this morning while mommy and mom go and get their nails done. I explained that uncle michael was the boss and that whatever michael says, goes! Well, Ryan giving me the look like "are you crazy? you're leaving us with Michael?" And I just look back at him and reassure him that everything is going to be great and he's going to have a fun time with Uncle Michael.
As soon as we get to moms, Ryan is on a scavenger hunt thru the kitchen cabinets looking for snacks, Aaron is right behind him and I can't get those 2 kids out of the kitchen... well, I ended up making them an early lunch, put Aaron down for his morning nap and started to say my goodbye's to Ryan as I was about to go and get spoiled for about 45 minutes. He started to freak out a bit and then he just stopped. He looked at me and said, " I want you to get black nails". huh?! so, he repeated to me, "I want you to get black nails" I was thinking this had to be some kinda joke or something... well, needless to say, I didn't get black nails... I got pink! Well, as soon as we got home, the first thing Ryan did was look at my feet and say, "you didn't get black nails!", "where's your black nails?" I had to explain to him that they ran out of black nail polish and so I decided to get pink. I asked him if he liked them and moms nails too... He looked at both of our feet, made the face and said "NO". LOL... whatever. My kid is too much! Since when do boys determine what color our nails should be? Ryan feels it is his duty to share with me what is "acceptable" to him. hahhaahah...
Here's your words for today:
Aaron: "whoa!", "baby", "snack"
Ryan: "The MAN!!!" (police officers are referred to as the MAN)

what the hell???!!!
LOL.... so, tonight was the big "performance" for my moms dance class. Her lame teacher has been building up this dumb show for weeks now, telling everyone how people really look forward to this performance put on by the dance majors, blah, blah blah.... Well, my mom had to go to this thing for an assignment and I told her that I would go with her, no big deal... Well, after the 1st performance, it became a big deal. What a freaking joke!!! I can't even express how awful this show was, and to think that my mom had to buy tickets to be subjected to this crap?! Wow... So, all the dancers were "heavy" and the performances were just awful. I'm not sure if some of them were supposed to be some type of "abstract art" or what, but there was no synchronozation, there was no rythym.. there were guys dancing with each other.. or should I say rolling on the ground TOGETHER! I was so put off by these performances, what a joke. So, I couldn't even clap or give a courtesy clap when each performance was done... I have to say that a children's dance recital would have been more entertaining and better than what these college students did. I was telling my mom that she needed to explain to her teacher that this Dance Performance was more like a really bad talent show or should I say talentless show. By the time the intermission came, my mom had enough, she said she couldn't handle it anymore and we got the hell out of there! Oh holy lord!!! Oh well, at least she can say that she went. If any of you get suckered into going to a performance like that, i suggest that you don't go. Anyways, I'm out...I had Hans take me out for a margarita tonight after being exposed to such juvenile talent. So, I'm feeling it right now... hahaha, can't wait for tomm... it's pedicure day...I love to get spoiled for that 45 minutes, it's like a little piece of heaven.

yay for friday!
Today was a good day. Ryan woke up this morning asking to call Lauren ( he knew that she spent the night at my moms house) so we immediately called mom to ask for a play date with Lauren. We ended up making lunch plans and headed down to Chino for lunch with Mom and Dad. On a side note really quick.... Lunch was really good, the service was great considering we were there on the lunch rush so dad was real quick to hook the server up with a nice tip. Mom paid the bill and dad gave me $20. to give the server. So I signed moms credit card slip, left the $20. and wrote a quick "Thank You" to the server on the receipt. Well, before I know it, she's running out of the restaurant chasing us in the parking lot to Thank us for the tip! So, I tell her, "your welcome" and explain to her that it's from my dad, blah, blah, blah, she says to Thank him... so my dad asks me, "what did she say?" (since he was a couple steps ahead of me in the parking lot) So I tell him how the conversation went, and instead of being happy about making her day at work, he proceeds to tell me (jokingly, in the Leon way...) "well, if she was that Thankful, she should have been hugging me and bumping and grinding on me..." WTF?! i was dying! I couldn't believe my dad was saying that, even though I know he's kidding but holy lord! when will it end?! oh well, at least he has a sense of humor.
So, after lunch and the "episode" we dropped dad off at the house and decided to take the kids to Victoria Gardens to play in the "jumping water" at the top of the grassy knoll. Ryan couldn't even wait to get there, he saw the water and started stripping down. He was the first one in the water. Lauren took a couple minutes to get motivated and to join Ryan but once she did, she had a blast! I finally felt comfortable with letting Aaron loose, so before I knew it, all 3 kids were playing in the water and having a really good time. It wasn't until mom said, "did you bring dry shorts for the boys to wear?" that I realized I screwed up! I brought everything that I could think of except for their shorts!!! I had towels, sunscreen, dry shoes, little swimmers, new diapers, you name it, I had it...except for the shorts!! So, we ended up running across to the Children's Place and bought some shorts for Ryan. I just kept Aaron in his diaper and t shirt since he was in the stroller all bundled up anyways... I have to say, I don't shop at the Children's Place much... I guess, I just have my favorite designers that I like for my boys, but I was pretty impressed with the stuff that they had... They had the cutest cargo shorts for Ryan and cutest printed T's and the store is really inexpensive! I think we bought 2 pair of cargo shorts for $15. Lauren decided that she wanted flip flops, so mom bought her 2 pairs for $5. wow! can't beat those prices!! I'm sure that the selection of clothes per season is hit and miss, but for the summer stuff, I was liking what they had... I'll have to keep this store in mind in the future when shopping for the boys!
Well, the boys had fun as did Lauren. Mom and I had fun, just hanging out in the shade watching the 3 houligans and then we bought snacks and drove mom and Lauren home. I don't think we have too much going on this weekend... I have a dance performance that I'm going to with my mom for her dance class but that's about it.... anyways, here are your words for today.. you'll be thrilled with Ryans "enhanced" vocabulary.
Words of the Day:
Ryan: "What up yo?" and can't forget...."FUCKER".....okay, where in the hell did that come from???? hahahaa... he actually was mimicking a movie that daddy was watching. Thanks daddy!! on a side note, Ryan proudly shouted "FUCKER" to Uncle Michael tonight as he was leaving our house tonight. Good God, i need help!!!
Oh, and i forgot to mention... Ryan has a fascination with crappy roads. When we are driving on rough roads with pot holes and stuff, Ryan likes to shout out, "This is a DUMPY road", "I don't like this DUMPY road" where did he learn the word "dumpy" from? and why does he relate it to crappy paved streets? hahahahaha... the minds of children amaze me.

here we go again...
so, instead of writing my (not to exceed) 8 page paper for class tommorow, I'd rather blog and complain about it. It's going on 9 and I haven't even begun to think about how I am going to structure this paper. Thank Goodness that the boys are in bed. I can hear Aaron singing to himself, I believe Ryan is passed out. I haven't heard his door open and close checking on me to see if I'm around... OMG! Strike that last sentance... Aaron isn't singing to himself, he's laughing hysterically... so is RYAN!! I just checked on them and wouldn't you know....Ryan has jumped into Aarons crib with him and they are playing together. Ryan freaked out because he knows daddy is going to spank him and Aaron nonchalontly says, "blah blah blah tractor".. Aaron tried to play and plead his innocence by asking for a tractor. Dear god, what am I to do? Well, the boys are back in their own beds, hopefully they will stay there for the remainder of the evening.
Tonight Ryan decided that he wanted McDonalds for dinner. As I'm ordering at the drive thru Ryan shouts out from the backseat to the drive thru speaker, "And I NEED a soda!!!" Aye dios mios!!! that kid is going to be the death of me. So, needless to say, I got the night off from cooking, we ate unhealthy tonight and I'm okay with it.... :)

new attitudes...not so much for the better
As I really start to take the time to watch and listen to the boys and monitor their interactions with each other, the dog and toys, it has dawned on me that they are hilarious! Aaron is 20 mos. now. He doesn't say a whole lot but he throws a MEAN attitude. When he's hungry, he will go to the kitchen and grab his highchair and try to scoot it to the kitchen island. When he's thirsty, he will go to the refrigerator door and scream at the ice maker. When he goes to bed he has warmed up to this blanket that my mom bought for Ryan (for his 1st Christmas). It's really pretty, it's a Ralph Lauren baby blanket with a teddy bear on a rocking horse. The blanket is knitted on the front side and is like t-shirt cotton on the back side. I didn't like to use the blanket too much as I was always "saving" it since I know it cost her a pretty penny. But, Aaron will not sleep with anything but that blanket. He has now named the blanket his "baby". When he's crying about a baby, he wants his blanket. I was trying to get him to warm up to another of the 1000 blankets that we have but he only wants that one. I had to convince myself that it was purchased to be used... you can't save it forever, and what am I actually "saving" it for? Well, now Aaron will have something to put in the memory box. Ryan still has his digusting piggy that Auntie Karen bought him but he's really not that attached to it since the piggie lost his tail. But we still have him, disgusting and all! Speaking of Ryan, his attitude lately is about ready to have myself commited! That child of mine is too smart for his own good and knows how and when and how far to push my buttons!! He knows mommy is all talk and he works it! Well lately I just try my best to compose my anger to keep from beating his butt! Yesterday, I was so upset at him for deliberately hitting Aaron on the head with a monster truck! Ryan knew that I was upset and ran to the stairs when I told him to go to his room he threw himself down (onto the stairs) face first! He ate Sh!t!!! His face hit the edge of the stair, I was thinking GREAT!! That's all that I need, a kid with a broken nose! Well, I got him into his room and into bed for a nap since he so desperately needed it. When he woke up, of course his nose was 2x bigger and swollen so i just monitored it and thank goodness, the swelling went down! I guess I should just prepare myself for these kinds of accidents, I have boys for Pete's Sake... and not girly boys, I have boys boys!!! They have no fear (except for big dogs)! My health insurance will probably be cancelled for all the claims that I will have to make for these 2 houligans. Oh well, gotta love the chaos...
Your words of the day are:
Aaron: snack
Ryan: My daddy had to go to work so that we can go to the river.

Could it get any hotter?!
The California heat has arrived! It is too hot for me!! I'm such a brat and a huge complainer... when it's freezing cold, I'm always wishing it was warm so that we can go boating and be outdoors and now that the heat is here, I can't wait to get some cooler weather! It is ridiculous hot!! I'm thinking my parents have the right idea... Have a house in Del Mar and Washington DC. That way then can be wherever the weather is nice! So, we didn't do much of anything today, we just got back from grocery shopping and now the boys are down for their naps (or at least aaron is).. I can hear Ryan playing in his room. Aaron spotted his favorite fruit at the store and shouted out baaaana. Yay! Ryan is being his usual crazy self today.... He tried to eat an apple thru the bag that they come in at the store... I thought I would die. I had to try to be incognito and put the bag back with Ryans teeth marks in it and get a new one. UGH!!!
I think Hans and I will take them out back when he gets home from work and hose them down! Until then....
Words of the Day:
Aaron: baaaana (banana)
Ryan: "Mommy, tell those other cars to get off the road so you can drive fast"! (as we're driving to the store)

It was WONDERFUL!!
Well, we are back from Carlsbad and San Diego and I must say, It was wonderful! We had a great time... the weather was awesome and it was just what we needed. Sea World is definately different when not pushing a duo glider stroller and 60 lbs. worth of kids, snacks and toys. I have to say Hans and I were able to get to the shows and exhibits and see them without any headaches of dealing with the limo stroller and loading and unloading the kids. It was almost like I didn't know what to do with myself... but all in all, it was lots of fun! I can't wait until we can go back to San Diego and go to the zoo! I'm afraid to go this summer so we'll probably wait until the schools are back in session and take the boys down there for the day. Aside from that, mom says the boys were good and when I went to pick them up today my dad had them in the backyard and he was hosing them down with the water while watering the grass. The boys (as far as I could see) were having a blast as it was so freaking hot down here so we hung out for awhile before leaving so that mom could get some of her homework done. Anyways, it seems not much happened while we were out of town....so, it looks like we're back to our everyday routine starting tomm! yay.

anniversary weekend...
well, yesterday, hans and I celebrated our marriage anniversary. It has been 4 years however, we have been together for 12 years this year. wow... It doesn't even seem like it has been that long. Anyhow, we didn't get to do much of anything as I had school last night. So we are going to celebrate our anniversary this weekend in San Diego. We will be leaving and spending the evening in Carlsbad and drive into San Diego to go to Sea World. I'm excited... I love San Diego and I like Sea World... something about the slow pace of exhibits and shows. Its not chaotic like Disneyland and your so close to the water, the weather is always so nice. I hope that we will have a good time, I'm sure that we will. I dropped the babies off with my mom and dad... Ryan played the part of the momma's boy but I'm sure that once I closed the door to leave, he was fine.
Speaking of Ryan, can I just say how funny he is. Today I caught him picking his nose! pretty gross, right? Well, I reprimanded him and told him if he had boogies that he needed to blow his nose... well, the next thing I know, he's picking his nose again, and putting his boogers on the dog (as she is sleeping peacefully next to him on the couch). I thought I would die. So, I yelled at him again and told him to put his boogies in the tissue. Well, he disapeared for awhile but came back when I called him so didn't think anything of it. Well, I found where he was for that short time...I was going to the bathroom in the downstairs guest bathroom and when I went to grab my toilet paper there was a collection of boogers all over the roll of toilet paper! So, technically Ryan took my advice and put his boogers on the "tissue". What will kids think of next?! I swear that kid is so freaking funny!!
Anyways, I'm gonna be missing times like these when I go back to work.
Words of the day:
Aaron: bye
Ryan: school bus

todays words are...
Ryan: o-pod (ipod), fat tire (flat), suicidal (thanks, sean kingston!) camra (Cameron), pada (pinata)
Aaron: bongebob quarpans (spongebob squarepants), NO and smart ass baby jibber jabber!!! this kid can throw a mean attitude!!

I think God hates me...Well, EDD does anyways.
So, I swear God or someone out there hates me. I have had the worst string of luck since being laid off from my job back in December. Is it really possible for something like that to happen? I mean, my God!! Could it get any worse? I swear, I think God just wants me to lose EVERYTHING before I will see any good in my life again. I'm not sure why...I never cheated, lied or stole to get anything that I have. I earned it or paid for it with my own money. I'm so miserable right now, I don't know if it could possibly get any worse.
I just rec'd an emergency phone call from mom, so I'll be back later!
okay, okay, so we are back at home, everything with mom is situated and the boys are sleeping for hopefully at least 2 hours!
Well, getting back to my pity party... I didn't rec'v my unemployment check yesterday and I was really ticked off as I sent my flipping form back early and triple checked it to make sure that everything was filled out correctly...well, I finally got someone on the phone at EDD around 3:00 (I've been calling since 8 am this morning) well, I asked a question about why I hadn't rec'd a check, the bitch said, "it takes 10 days to process a check, you don't always recieve it on the same day" when I started to ask her if I was going to get a check like this week or have to wait another 2 weeks (because I've had to do so in the past..) the whore hung up on me. This isn't the first time that this has happened... EDD has the worst customer service!!! They are probably all fat, ugly, grotesque single lesbians who can't find love so they take it out on the unemployed people. I swear, if I could go down to that office and raise hell, I would. I'm sure that if I spoke spanish and chose the spanish option, the spanish speaking representative would have stayed on the phone with me and explained the process until I understood it. I so hate being on unemployment right now. It's the worst... I think it's part of God's plan to hate me. I swear, I don't know what I did wrong or who I've upset, but this has to end... SOON! I'm about ready to leave town..I can't handle this anymore! So to all you a-holes who work at EDD, you can all kiss my ass!!! I hope that when you are on unemployment one day, you will be treated with the same "respect" that you treat others!! Karma's a bitch and so are all of you!!!!

we had visitors today...
today, one of my besties came over with her two fur babies. Nori came over with Harley and Seidy. It was a reunion for everyone including the dogs. Haylie and Harley did fine together, but Haylie and Seidy didn't like each other so much...it must be a mother/daughter thing... Nori took some really cute pics of the boys and played outside with Ryan. We watched a movie together while she updated my computer and then all of a sudden, I got really sleepy... I could not get out of my slump. I'm still kinda feeling it...my stomach is in knots right now.... its very unsettling and its bothering me like mad! I found enough strength to feed the boys and get them into bed by 7:30...and it figures, Hans called to say he had to stay in Carlsbad 1 more night.... I could have totally used his help tonight. oh well.... we had a comment to celebrate today...as I was resting on the couch, I peeked to see what the boys were doing and heard Aaron tell Ryan "mama nigh nigh".. OMG!! I jumped up and hugged and kissed him... the freaking cutest thing I've heard come out of his mouth... YAY!! he's beginning to understand and talk!! Way to go Aaron!!
words of the day:
Ryan: Charlie (Harley)
Aaron: go way (go away) and mama nigh nigh

i guess NOT
well, I'm assuming that I didn't get a job with Wells Fargo as I have not heard anything from them. I didn't get the "we're sorry" email but I didn't get a call with the good news either, so, of course, I'm going to assume the worst.... oh well, things happen for a reason.
the boys are getting funnier everyday... Aaron yells back "what"? whenever I call out his name. Ryan always has a comeback when asked to do anything and they just seem to amaze me more and more everyday. I think back to when I brought Aaron home from the hospital, Ryan was 1 1/2 (same age as aaron right now) and he spoke a few more words and he seemed more "grown up" than Aaron does right now. Is that because I keep seeing Aaron as my baby? I refuse to let him grow up in my eyes? It seemed that Ryan was talking, understanding, listening....and Aaron, not so much.. I could just be delusional. I probably should have recorded my kids the past 3 years so that I have something to look back on. I really need to start doing things like that. Maybe, I can ask hubby for a camera, or maybe, I should just start hiring Hans' stepbrother to come over and record our parties and stuff.... For Ryans 3rd birthday, I didn't get 1 single photo of him. I was in the kitchen and hosting the entire time and my husband was cooking and drinking with the guys. My sister who normally is the picture taker has been consumed with her new boyfriend and so it was like she wasn't even here....she sucks lately.
anyways...the chores around the house got done, Hans came home last night and things seem to be better around here with us. We got along, and without saying it, we "apologized" to each other and the attitude in the house has gotten better.
words of the day:
Ryan: Moose, Nayla (layla) these are B's dogs
Aaron: what?

today ended up getting better...
so, as the day progressed, things began to get better. I did some gardening in the backyard, the boys played in their oversized frisbee of a pool and then we ate lunch together....the boys then took a pretty good nap and then mom came over for some mom and daughter time. :)
I was fortunate to have my stepson and his mom watch the boys so that I could be kid free for a few hours today. It was so nice to get out and not have to worry about setting up the cadillac stroller and putting the kids in their seats, yada, yada, yada.... The 3 hours went by so quick, I was almost certain that I was reading the clock wrong! anyways, ryan had a blast with brandon and his little sister, Alyssa. Ryan loves to play with her...Ryan freaked out again when he saw Brandon's dog, Moose. Moose is a huge lab who is sooooo friendly... but ryan won't ever give the dog a chance... he sees a dog bigger then Haylie and he's screaming like a biatch!!
I really haven't talked to Hans today except for to ask him where the boys blow up pool was... I think we need to not talk or I'll just get upset. Anyways, Ryan informed me that since he did pee pee in the toilet today, that i needed to take him to the Disneyland Store. I think Disneyland is making quite an impression on him. Well, I'm outta here...
words of the day:
Aaron: what??
Ryan: "I know! I have an idea! Let's go to the store"
me: store? what store?
Ryan: the DISNEYLAND store!!!
Me: Ryan, what do you want for dinner tonight?
Ryan: mmmmm, vegetables
Me:???? WTF????

it was supposed to be a nice weekend
so, here we are, Monday morning and I'm still irritated with Hans. We kinda have been at each others throats lately and yesterday was the icing on the cake.... I had a pedicure date with mom and after that she and dad had invited us to go to lunch with the kids... So, as I'm hanging up the phone with mom, I'm letting him know, it's now 945 and we are having lunch with mom and dad at noon. So, that means, time to get out of bed!!! Well, immediately, Hans starts grumbling, "i have to mow the lawn...blah, blah, blah...." I tell him to wait until after we eat, we'll put the boys down for a nap and then WE can do the yard work together. Well, I guess he didn't like that idea because the next thing I know, he's out doing the yard and he's grumpy about it. wah wah.... so i give him a kiss goodbye and tell him i'll see him and the boys in a few hours. Clearly that didn't happen.
I called him around 1145 and he didn't answer the phone... I then called him again around noon or a bit after and surprisingly he answered. when I told him not to worry about being late because my sister was running behind anyways, he immediately started to fly off the handle... "It's just not going to happen....I'm still not done with the yard work, the boys are acting crazy, ryan keeps getting a bloody nose and since I'm the only one who does anything around here, I can't make it". click. Okay,....so what the hell just happened? excuse me, if the boys got the best of you... I have them ALL day long, everyday...even when you come home just to eat and then spend the rest of the evening at your friends house pretending to work on our rhino or your truck. And to imply that I don't do anything around this monstrous house is ludicrous. You can kiss my ass to that suggestion. I was soo pissed and embarrassed at what had just happened. I had to tell mom and dad that Hans and the boys weren't coming because he was suffering from a case of the "POOR ME's". WHATEVER!!! My husband has the worst timing for anything and everything. Why would he even attempt to mow the lawn on this 10,000+ sq. ft. lot when he knows we are meeting mom and dad in Chino for lunch in 2 hours? HELLO???!!!! I don't know why the yard work became so damn important all of a sudden when the grass is dead every other day because my husband doesn't want to set the freaking timer on our sprinklers... ugh... i'm just really frustrated. Not only that, once I got drunk with dad at lunch and came home, we didn't say one word to each other... then to top it off, we had to go to his sisters house for a bbq. that was fun..... :( it sucked because I was not in the mood to be there since Hans and I were not speaking. So needless to say, I just hung out with the kids. Hans ignored me and our kids, acted like he wasn't married so i let him... f-it. So we drove home in silence and he went to bed by himself...I refused to sleep in the same bed with him last night for I probably would have killed him due to my rising aggravation. I stayed out in the bonus room on the couch...couldn't sleep too well, but whatever. Well, hans left for Carlsbad today and will be there for the next few days..surprisingly he actually said goodbye to me this morning... he normally walks out of the house without saying a word if we're fighting... so I don't know how to take this whole thing now. I'm really pissed off at the accusation of not doing anything around my house. And to top it off, Ryan tells me that Joe was over here yesterday. So, basically the truth comes out, Hans picked a fight with me because he didn't want to leave Joe to hang out with the parentals.... eh, whatever... paybacks are a bitch and so is your wife, honey!!!! sucks to be you right now. It's probably a good thing that you won't be home until wednesday...I need the time to cool off from you and your childish behavior. Anyways, here are your words for the day...
Ryan: Nirsty (thirsty)
Aaron: severe jibber jabber with ATTITUDE!

just because....
well, I made it home from Disneyland Wednesday night and I had a great time at school again last night. I'm really enjoying this class and the instructor! He keeps my attention all night long. Anyways, my hubby and i decided not to go to Glamis this weekend for the roll cage has not been completed (which I knew it wouldn't be...) so, It's just going to be a nice weekend at home for us. It's supposed to get really hot, so I'll probably end up setting up the boys $5 inflatable pool from Toys R Us this weekend to keep them cool. I think I might start tackling one of the bedrooms in the house that was neglected when we first moved in... I think I'm going to start painting it and then the only room that will need to be done is my bedroom. My bedroom is going to be one hell of a task!! it takes of the entire back side of the house, it's quite large... I was excited to have a bedroom that size but now I'm letting the size of it intimidate me!!
Well, as for Disneyland, it was kind of crowded as it was still Spring Break. The kids had a blast though.. well, mine did for that matter. Ryan is really starting to fall in love with disneyland. Aaron is getting better, he's still rather be at home eating, but they sat thru their first parade, finally got to ride the carousel again and took a nice ride around the park in the train. Ryan caught on real quick to the conductors "ALL ABOARD" shot out every time the train will descend from its previous location. It was fun.
I'm actually really starting to look forward to the end of the month...it will be my 4 year anniversary with my hubby and we have decided to go to San Diego for the weekend. I'm stoked to get to go to Sea World with out the kids... well, really not so much the kids but without the STROLLER!!! OMG! That thing is such a freaking pain in the ass!!! Once we're at Sea World, I'll be sad that the kids aren't there to see the shows and exhibits with us but I won't be sad at having to deal with the "cadillac". It should be a nice time... we'll be staying in Carlsbad and just drive into San Diego for the day. I'm really excited because we'll be staying next door to the Carlsbad Outlets! yay!!! I love to shop there. Well hopefully things will go well and there won't be anything else to worry about, it seems as though we are starting to reach the light at the end of the tunnel. Things are looking up and seem to be getting better. Let's just hope that they all stay that way.
words of the day:
Ryan: no way JOSE!!

wednesday...
so, for the past two days I have been faithfully working out on my elliptical machine that my brother in law brought back to me and have been working out with my free weights.... dear lord, I have no strength to get out of bed! I finally pulled myself out of bed about half an hour ago. My bug, Ryan, put his Cars movie on and that pretty much kept him occupied until I found the strength to get out of bed. It's my own fault though.... my hubby wakes me up at 5 am every morning to make his coffee and lunch and when I'm done I'm wide awake but crawl back into bed... that's so bad, but what the heck am I supposed to do that early in the morning? anyways, Operation Lose MAJOR weight is in effect! I refuse to be the big girl in the boat this year and that's that.
Well, my sister made her way home from Costa Rica and she seems to be in good spirits. We have decided that we are going to take the kids to Disneyland for the afternoon since it's my nieces 4th birthday today... so that should be fun.. I was missing Disneyland! Well, I'd better get the kiddies ready and head on over to moms so that we can all scoot on out of here! I'll post more tonight and actually try to get some pictures up!
oh, big event this morning! Ryan made his own bed for the first time and it looks really good! Yay Ryan!!! I'm so proud of you!!!

So, today marked the first day of our first play date. Ryan, Aaron and I headed over to Shaena's house and we all ate yummy sandwiches and the kids played wonderfully for 4+ hours while Shaena and I chatted. It was so nice to have adult conversation for a good portion of my day. I'm sad now that I have a friend at home and I'm about to go back to work. :( Oh well, I guess things happen for a reason. I hope that this thing with the job works out, I'm anxious to get back to work but at the same time, I think I have finally figured out how to make it work as a stay at home mommy. I love it, I'm going to miss my boys tremendously. I just hope that we can get this business off the ground soon so that I can have the option to stay home in the future. I'll just keep praying and thinking positive...
Back to our play date... Ryan and the kids made their way outside after about 3 hours of playing with toys... Shaena has an exceptionally large retriever that is really nice, but like I said... unusually large. Well, I peeked outside as the kids first went out there and Ryan seemed to be doing fine as the dog was in his dog run... Well, no more than 5 minutes later I hear Ryan screaming as if someone was trying to kill him. So Shaena and I ran to the window to see what the commotion was about and that's when we realized that Garrett had let the dog out of the run.. Gretz was pouncing and running all around the yard wanting to play... Poor little Ryan was freaking out and screaming as he is deathly afraid of large dogs... He was so scared that he kept falling to the ground, by the time Shaena got outside to rescue Ryan, he had lodged himself between her house and her AC unit on the patio to hide from the dog. My poor kid!!! As Shaena brought him into the house, he advised us of how he is afraid and does not like "big dogs". All I could do was hold him, the poor kid was still trembling just talking about it... But Shaena made it all better, she got him a go-gurt and all was good! I hope that we can have many more playdates in the future, I'm bummed that I may be going back to work but I'm glad that we've rekindled our friendship.... I'm sure there will be many more playdates in the future and hopefully plenty of "mommy's night out".
Today was my sister in laws birthday so we went to WoodFire for some BBQ. It was yummy, but I'm still feeling it... I am so damn full... as soon as we got home, I immediately went straight to the eliptical and started working out! Good Lord!! I need to lose some weight!! River season is coming up and I can't be looking like a damn butterball! So, here's to a new job (hopefully) and to losing some serious weight!
Words of the Day:
Aaron: poo poo (as he bends over and grabs his crotch)
Ryan: ARGH!!!! (with his right eye covered), and "oh yeah bebe"....
